How pretty is this painted electrical box in the South End? It was painted by Yuko Adachi, a local artist, and adds wonderfully unexpected color to the neighborhood. The colors and patterns are just so vibrant, cheery, and fun. Wouldn't it be nice if there was more fantastic street art like this around?

  1. I love Boston for the brilliantly vivid streetart it has all over the city! It adds such personality to the different neighborhoods and, I think, really reflects how intimately a part of the city everyone is and how they truly make every part of it their own! I love it!! :)

  2. sarah ~ these are breathtaking really. i so want to visit boston again! "southie" seems like such a cool place ~ i remember how they called it that in good will hunting ;)

  3. I love this! There's a super awesome one in JP -- right across from the monument -- that I just love. It's great how they add a little bit of funk to the street.

  4. This is great - I absolutely love the colours. What a fab way to bring some life & personality into the area..!
