Don't you just love hats? I love how a simple hat with a black ribbon perfectly completes these two lovely ladies' outfits, worn decades apart. That Coco Chanel sure knew what she was doing. Hats always seem to add such a wonderful sense of glamour and mystery. I'd love to know, do you wear hats? I absolutely adore hats, but feel a little silly wearing them sometimes. I think this is a look that I may just have to try.

ReplyDeleteHow I really wish I could pull of that Coco Chanel hat - look... It's so classy, and at the same time so delicate. Thanks for stopping by my blog as always and leaving that sweet comment. You know, I was actually thinking of you as I was walking around in Haight-Ashbury and thinking that you definitely would have gone crazy with your camera in these streets! There are so many beautiful sites to visit for a street photographer :)

I feel the same way about hats! I wore a wide brimmed black hat with feathers in it to my high school prom. Looking back, I'm always a little embarrassed for myself...but I also really admire how brave I was and what a great hat it was! =)
