Happy first day of fall, dear readers! These few months when the heat and humidity of summer has faded and is replaced by a delightfully crisp but delicate chill are my favorite of the year. I get giddy just thinking about all the things I love best about fall...apple picking, trench coats, pumpkin lattes, pumpkin soup, pumpkin candles--well, pumpkin anything really. Fall has always felt like a new beginning for me. It's been a little quiet on the blog lately (...um, almost a month since my last post!) It's been a full and busy September, with a much longed for visit from my boyfriend (who I hadn't seen for three months!), my darling big sister's beautiful & heartfelt wedding, and a busy few weeks at work. Taking a little step back from blogging has given me the chance to think about what I really want this blog to be. I started this blog two years ago knowing absolutely nothing about photography and graphic design. (I cringe when I look back at some of my early posts!) Creating this little blog been such a wonderful journey and has become such an important piece of my life. I've been working on a design refresh (hopefully launching in the next month or so) and will be playing around with some new content. Thank you all for bearing with me! ;)

ReplyDeleteI totally had a similar reaction when I was going through some old posts of my own. but- at the end of the day you have to love it...because it builds the foundation for your blog which exists today!! I'll have to check out that band you posted too...xoxo
