ONE | TWO THREE | FOUR | FIVE
I'm taking a global film and culture class this semester. Recently, we've been studying the French New Wave cinema, with a focus on Jean-Luc Godard and Brigitte Bardot. Contempt (Le Mépris) is a beautiful film about a woman falling out of love with her screenwriter husband as he is writing an adaptation of The Odessey. If you're looking for a happy ending, this isn't the film for you--but don't you just love Brigitte Bardot's timeless style?

  1. I took a film class as well in college, and LOVED IT. When we studied French New Wave we watched Cleo from 5 to 7. They are definitely different from the film I'm normally used to, but they are so beautiful and enchanting. Wish I could take another film class!

  2. My dear,
I found your blog by chance, while peeking others and I decided to check it out! I’m glad I did it, because I am really delighted with yours. It's beautiful, well structured, interesting… and it has completely got me hooked. I think we're going to get along just fine! ;) I'd like to invite you to meet my space as well and I hope you'll have as much fun as I am having in yours!
I wish you lots of success
    kisses
